Lighting a Landmark on the Athens Riviera

Armonia Residences is an exclusive collection of 22 apartments, penthouses and townhouses designed by John Pawson, overlooking the pine-fringed bay of Vouliagmeni. A building defined by contemporary luxury, clean horizontal planes, full-height glazing, and a sophisticated simplicity that places it in quiet dialogue with the sea and sky around it.

Our exterior lighting design was guided by the same principle that defines the building itself, restraint with purpose. The architecture required a lighting approach that would honor its calm, considered character without imposing itself. Every decision was made to serve the building, not to decorate it.

Concealed LED strips trace the base of the facade and perimeter walls, grounding the building with a warm, continuous line that defines its presence after dark. Recessed downlights illuminate the balcony pergolas with quiet precision, giving each level its own subtle rhythm. Through the full-height glazing, the warmth of each residence slowly reaches outward, floor by floor, layer by layer, until the building itself becomes the light source.

As evening settles over Vouliagmeni, sky, sea and architecture find their balance, held together by light, in perfect armonia.
